Assembly verification station
Tier-1 automotive interior supplier · Duncan, SC · customer name withheld

The problem
A multi-step manual assembly was built by hand, where every dampener, clip and label depended on the operator following the sequence correctly. A missed component isn't caught at the bench — it's caught downstream, or by the customer.
What we built
An alignment fixture positions the part and locks the assembly for the duration of the build. Vision sensors verify each component as it is installed, and the fixture will not release the part until every check returns a pass. Mobile aluminium frame, light-curtain guarding, task lighting, live step status on an HMI, integrated label printer.
The result
Since implementation: no skipped steps, no missing components.
